Story

So, some of you may know i have entered Ironman Wales next year. I have wanted to do an event to raise money for MND since Kate's Grandad passed away from having the awful disease. It needed to be an event that was huge, something that would take every ounce of strength + will power I have to get me through it, and Ironman Wales is definitely that! I've never done a triathlon before so am jumping into the deep end a bit/a lot with this.

My training starts from January and i will keep my progress updated on social media. Doing this for this amazing charity is going to help keeping me going. Going to need all the help and support I can get with this. Since entering, I have been told that Ironman Wales is one of the toughest ones in the world!!

There is no cure for MND. It can leave people trapped in a failing body, unable to move, talk, swallow and eventually breathe. As someone who likes to keep fit, get outside and enjoy family life, running around with my daughter and dogs, this disease would be like my worst nightmare.
