Firstly many many thanks to everyone who has donated online I have been blown away by the level of support I have received, to raise as much mony as I have for what is such a good cause is amazing!!!!

As well as the online support I have received a number of offline sponsoships so thanks to The Inlaws (Enrie and Ann) Stephen, Jonathon, Richard and all at RPS, Tony C, Woody, Jane, John and Phillipa, Gary and Jean, Gill and Brendon, Gary and Mel, Fay, Elaine and finally Chris, Many thanks to you all!!   

I did it, ran, walked and limped 26 miles 385 yards for the fun of it, and joking aside, despite the pain it was fun.  The crowds were amazing and even though it hurt from about mile 16 onwards I really enjoyed the day.   I didn't even get close to my 4 hour target, finshed in 4.24.31 but would recommend it to anyone who fancies giving it a go!!

I chose to run for the charity Deafness Research UK as it is a fantastic Charity who I would like to see benefit from my mild addiction to running.  I am keen to support this charity as my daughter Grace suffers from high frequency hearing loss and has recently been fitted with hearing aids, they have made a huge difference to her and I am sure your donation will make a huge difference to someone else!
