In celebration of Lily’s first birthday we have set up this fundraising page. Please join in if you’d like to make a little donation here to help us mark this occasion.

Lily was born on 4^th July 2017. Things went wrong during her birth and she was born with catastrophic brain damage and as a result she died on 12^th July. Trying to decide how to mark what should have been her first birthday has been a huge challenge.

I have always been a photo lover. Photos are extra precious when time is so limited. On each day we were with Lily we took lots of photos. We had a very special last day with Lily when we took her out of hospital and into the countryside. Our friend Peter Griffith, a professional photographer, joined us on that last extraordinary day and he captured some incredible images. These photos are very beautiful and so special. We couldn't have achieved them without a professional photographer. We will treasure these pictures forever.

Remember My Baby is a charity that works with a network of volunteer professional photographers (including our friend Peter). They help parents experiencing the loss of their baby before, during or shortly after birth with a gift of remembrance photography. I think these beautiful professional photographs are an incredible gift for parents facing the devastating journey of baby loss.

In memory of Lily, on her first birthday, I'm pleased to be supporting this excellent charity.
