Story

Hi Everyone!  I'm fundraising in memory of my mum, Ann Woodbridge, who passed away last year from mesothelioma, a rare form of cancer usually caused by exposure to asbestos.

I've decided to do the Llanelli Olympic Distance Triathlon, as Llanelli was my mum's home town.  This is a big challenge for me! I never done an olympic distance triathlon before and the swim is in the sea - eek!  The triathlon will consist of...

1.5km swim,  40 km bike,  10km run

I live in the midlands so this will not be easy for me - I have never even swum in the sea before!  The big day is on Sunday the 1st of September 2013.

Thanks for visiting! Please show your support and donate what you can. I will also be doing a series of other shorter events leading up to the big day - I will post more details soon.
