I am raising money for Fairplay because it is a charity that I have been involved with for over ten years.

I originally went to Fairplay when I was 13 years old and was first diagnosed with a brain tumour. The youth groups at the centre helped me build my confidence, self-esteem and with my social skills. It gave me a lot of support and opportunities to experience new things. A couple of years later I started as a volunteer and have been working as a team-member for the past few years and find this job very rewarding! 

Fairplay is a charity that supports children and young people with disabilities and additional needs, and their families across North Derbyshire. It offers a wide range of services to meet the needs of families. It offers support to children and young people aged 0-25 and to parents and siblings. Fairplay is a great charity that has a huge impact of the lives of children and their families in North Derbyshire. Fairplay and all the staff at the centre offer a place that is welcoming and inviting for all of the children which make it a great place to work and support.
