Asics Greater Manchester Marathon 2019 · 7 April 2019 ·

We support young people and adults with mental health issues in Manchester. We're an independent, self-financed charity offering services to those most in need. We promote positive attitudes to mental health to challenge stigma, increase awareness and work for better mental health for all.

Story

Oliver Mattison, Adam Thomas, George Rogers, Jake Benson, Joe Buckley, Michael Leach, Lee Pringle, Stuart Hynes, Josh Bennett, Stuart McGuire, Sameed Rezayan, Scott Graham and Tom Rogers  are running the Manchester Marathon in April 2019 in memory of Sam Pringle and to raise money to help fund Manchester Mind, an independent mental health charity supporting people in Manchester.

Mental health is an issue that we feel passionately about and after Sam’s tragic death, we decided that we wanted to raise money for a charity supporting people struggling with mental health.

Suicide is the biggest killer of men under fifty in the UK, yet the amount of money allocated to mental health is a fraction of what is needed to adequately support those who need help.

Too many people suffer in silence. Your donation will help Manchester Mind reach out to more people and give them the help and support they desperately need.
