SASIG's Christmas Natter

SASIG Events Limited is raising money for ChildLine

SASIG Christmas Natter · 11 December 2020

ChildLine is the UK's free and confidential, 24 hour helpline for children in distress or danger. Trained volunteer counsellors comfort, advise, support and protect children and young people who may feel they have nowhere else to turn. Children call ChildLine about a wide range of problems, but the most common problems are abuse (both sexual and physical), bullying, serious family tensions, worries about friends' welfare and teenage pregnancy. Children and young people can call ChildLine about anything – no problem is too big or too small. ChildLine is a service provided by the NSPCC

Story

SASIG Events is excited to be hosting its first virtual SASIG Christmas Natter on 11th December following the huge success of our virtual annual dinner earlier this year. Fundraising for charities has suffered enormously during the Covid-19 crisis, including SASIG's chosen charity the NSPCC's Childline. We know that the need for Childline's work has never been greater than during the lockdown over the last few weeks.

With this in mind, and in the spirit of the Christmas dinner, we are inviting selected members of the UK's cybersecurity community for a virtual SASIG Christmas Natter at 12pm on Friday 11th December 2020 in aid of Childline.

Senior executives, academics, government representatives and those who have helped and supported SASIG over the past year (and the past few weeks in particular) will be joining us. Guests are asked to also donate to Childline during the event through this page. Those that can't join us are also encouraged to use this facility to donate to this most worthy cause.

We do hope you will be able to come along, to have a festive time, and to help Childline in this small way. We thank you in advance for your generous support.
