Story
Robynne, Simon, Charles, Dave and Rachel will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on 25th May 2018 to raise money for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance Charitable Trust.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Route is 24 miles and includes 5,200ft of ascent taking on the three peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
The Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance is a dedicated Helicopter Emergency Medical service covering the area we live. The 'ambucopter' can reach any point over the two counties in less than 20 minutes and on average can transfer a patient to hospital within 8 minutes. This could be the difference between life and death.
Each mission costs approximately £2,500.00. With an average of 3 missions per day the charity need to raise £2.5m each year to keep flying and keep savings lives.
In our rural county it is a service that really does save lives.
