SERV transports Blood, Plasma, Platelets, Samples, Vaccines, Factor VIII, Donor Breast milk & any other urgently required medical items to hospitals - Out of Hours - Free of Charge to the NHS. SERV receives no funding and has been saving lives since 1981

Story

SERV volunteers provide a vital out-of-hours urgent blood delivery service to your local NHS hospitals.

Many of our volunteers use their own cars and motorcycles, supplemented by our 3 emergency rapid response bikes and our SERV Van, on rota across at strategic locations across the county.

To deliver this emergency service night after night we need more bikes, more riders, more drivers, more controllers.

By the end of this year we will have answered over 2500 calls for help. We're getting busier all the time and are asking more of our volunteers. Expanding our fleet of response bikes is an essential part of ensuring we continue to meet the more urgent needs of our local hospitals whilst our volunteers continue to maintain an excellent service level and commitment.

We do all our own fundraising to keep our service going for 365 nights a year and also provide 24 hour cover on bank holidays.  All our donors will get a mention on our website, your donation will make a big difference to the local community and our local hospitals.
