Story
A well loved local charity, Willen Hospice provide free end of life care for adults in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas - therefore it wasn't much of a surprise when the majority of SMC's 400 employees nominated them as our charity of the year for 2 years.
The annual cost of running the Hospice is a staggering £4.7 million, which means the charity relies heavily on corporate and individual donations to ensure they meet that target every year.
To help fundraise, 14 colleagues at SMC decided to team up and embark on the challenge of taking part in the MK Half Marathon on Sunday 3rd May. These brave individuals will put themselves through a rigorous training programme in the coming months to make sure they're race-ready!
To provide motivation for all 14 participants and help them negotiate through the 13 mile course, we would kindly ask all our SMC colleagues, business partners, friends and families to help donate to this fantastic cause and help Willen Hospice continue providing they're much needed services.
