Community Hospice provides free end of life care to anyone living with a terminal illness in Greenwich and Bexley, supporting around 3,000 people each year. Our goal is to help everyone we care for to approach death in the way that suits their values, beliefs and lifestyle.

Story

I am taking part in the Run to the Beat Half Marathon on Sunday 8th September to raise as much money as I can for the Greenwich and Bexley Hospice.

The Hospice cared for my Mum Ann a few years back during her final weeks and the level of care towards my Mum and support towards all the Family from the staff at the Hospice was amazing.

The Hospice does not charge for its services and only about one third of their funding comes from the NHS, which means they depend on the generosity of, mostly local, individuals, trusts, organisations and businesses to raise more than 4 million pounds annually so that they can continue to provide care to people when it matters most.
