Story
Hi Everyone,
As we are approaching the 1st year anniversary of the death of our beloved Michael Rogan, we as a family have come together to organise a special fundraiser in his memory and to help raise vital funds for the "Intensive Care Unit" in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.
The Doctors, Nurses and all the staff did all they could to try and bring Rogie home to us but unfortunately it wasn't to be. We will never forget the kindness, support, respect and the wonderful help they gave to Rogie and to us. We are truly grateful and will be forever indebted to them for everything they did for us during the week when Rogie was in Intensive Care.
As a family we want to thank them for all they did for us and help raise some vital funds for their unit. A "Just Giving" page has been created and should anyone wish to donate or hilight that they are doing the walk, please feel free to share the link. We also have some sponsor sheets available, if anyone would like one please let us know.
From the 19th April until the 5th of June, Sabrina (Rogies sister) will be completing a 5k a day walk in his memory. If anyone would like to do this also you are very welcome to. Also if any of Rogies many friends worldwide wish to participate you are so welcome. Our aim is simply to raise as much money as we can for the ICU unit in Rogies memory.
On Saturday the 5th of June 2021 (Rogies 1st year anniversary) we are arranging a 5k walk around beautiful Mayobridge, a walk Rogie himself loved to do.
We are leaving Rogies Family Home, 34 St Anne's Park Mayobridge at 1pm.
All covid and social distancing along with any public guidelines are to be followed and everyone is welcome to join us on the day.
Just one rule you have to wear Red! Either it be a Liverpool Jersey or a Red Top.
This last year has been harder than we could ever put into words without our beloved Michael. We have been truly humbled with the support we have received during the past year from so many people. I don't think we could have got through it without the love & support you have shown us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Rogie will never ever be forgotten. Always loved & forever missed.
