Having recently become a father for the second time I have come to realise how important a good start in life is, and how deprivation makes a real difference in getting that excellent start. The Michael Crawford charity objectives are to assist children and young people in the alleviation of poverty and the relief of sickness. Since it was established in 1994, it has helped a number of individuals with the provision of medical equipment and funded medical treatment. It has also made grants to other children's charities.
