Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Dyslexia is a common learning difficulty that can cause problems with reading, writing and spelling. It's a specific learning difficulty and although, awareness has improved there is still much stigma and misunderstanding around the condition. There is a strong link between people with dyslexia whom also have poor self esteem and more prone to mental health difficulties.

I am proud to run for The British Dyslexia Association (BDA) who  are the voice of dyslexic people. They  aim to influence government and other institutions to promote a dyslexia friendly society for all. The BDA promote early identification of specific learning difficulties and support in schools to ensure opportunity to learn for dyslexic learners.

Therefore, I am running 26.2 miles for this wonderful charity and of course for Hugo who is the most wonderful thinker (and runner!) that I know.
