Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

My Amazing Dad - John Welsby passed away suddenly last week and the team who helped us decide to donate his organs were just amazing. They had been helped by this charity to deal with the process of Organ Donation for loved ones.  It made the experience more bearable and the decision to wait longer before turning off life support easier.  My Dad has saved 2 lives and helped improve others too.

Here is DFN's mission statement: The Donor Family Network (DFN) is run by donor families for donor families.  The DFN logo comprises a butterfly and a forget-me-not.  The butterfly is a symbol of hope and new life and the forget-me-not that no donor will ever be forgotten.  The DFN offers a wide range of support to donor families, regardless of when donation happened or in what circumstances.  Support is provided by people who have been in your situation.

We are eternally grateful to DFN and would like to give something back.

Thankyou, from Myself, my Mum Hilary, My Sister Katie, My Brother Dylan and all of his loving family.
