Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Over the years I have sponsored loads of people doing very exciting and dangerous things from marathons to climbing mountains to cycling up and down hills. 

I'm not planning to do anything as exciting as that - it's only a 5 mile walk round Loughborough campus, but those of you who know me well know I don't walk far!  My messed up ankle and hip make walking any distance a bit of a chore, but not impossible.

Rainbows Hospice is a brilliant place and a very deserving charity - and Divas in the Dark sounds such a fun event - so please give me a bit of motivation and sponsor me.

Update 4 Sept  Well I did it - and only now realise I did it on the 4th anniversary of my hip op.

I ache all over and my feet are very painful. We did the walk at a cracking pace whcih was probably not a good idea for me.- I should have paced myself better.  Never mind - I finished it, and not last either, so am quite chuffed.

You can still sponsor me until the end of September - it really is such a goo cause.
