This time last year I'd just finished chemotherapy. Now, following an abseil into Manchester United in February, I've jumped from a plane at 15,000 feet.

"You're too young and pretty for this. We'll look after you" were the words of the nurse who took my blood sample on my first visit to The Christie.  I believed her...well, the last bit...and they did; throughout two operations, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. 

Sadly, there are no tests to tell us if my stage 3 breast cancer is cured.  However, I believe I stand a great chance thanks to the very best care and treatment from the extraordinary Christie Hospital.  I'm committed to helping raise funds for research, treatment, care and support of the 1 in 3 who will also have a Cancer diagnosis.

p.s. 'Cold Cap' enabled me to retain my hair when chemotherapy guaranteed its loss.
