Brighton Marathon 2015 · 12 April 2015 ·

Living with mental health problems can be life changing, but we believe that with the right support extraordinary things can happen. At Heads On we do everything we can to make life better for people who come to Sussex Partnership for help when they're having a tough time. Thank you for helping us.

Story

I'm combining my two new found passions:

Working with old people and wearing sports leggings...

So I have decided to run the Brighton marathon to raise money for the acute mental health ward that I work on. I'm an occupational therapist on an older adults ward and any money raised would help provide additional therapeutic opportunities for the individuals I work with.

I will be raising money through Heads On which is Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s charity. They help people with mental health problems to feel supported, to stay active and to be more involved in their communities. Whilst I personally work on an older adults acute mental health ward for the Trust.

I'm targeting 3hours and 30 minutes. The more you give the faster I will run. Please sponsor me... any donations will really have a big impact on individual's lives.

THANKS
