Brighton Marathon 2023 · 2 April 2023 ·

Just 4.8% of people with a learning disability are employed in England. We support young people with learning disabilities to acquire the skills, confidence and independence they need to gain paid employment, reach their full potential and find their place in society.

Story

Team Domenica is an amazing organisation in Brighton and Hove which creates futures and opportunities for young people with learning disabilities.

Patrick and Sam are both candidates at Team Domenica and are already well on their way to finding paid employment while building confidence, independence and self-esteem, working as part of a team and making new friends.

Pat and Sam are being joined by a whole team of cousins running the Brighton Marathon and 10k (and also the Toronto Marathon in Canada!) to raise funds for Team Domenica.

The “Pass It On” team is Sam, Patrick, Jack & Lottie Webster, Pat & Ellie Dunachie, Matt Carnegie-Horrocks, Laura Carnegie Brown & Charles Carpenter, Molly & Charlie Reynolds and Archie Wood.

This event combines two things which have had such an incredible impact on Sam and Patrick’s lives: Team Domenica and the fantastic support from our extended family.

Please donate generously so that more young people can benefit from the life-changing experience of being a candidate at Team Domenica.

Thank you so much!
