This year Sam and Eliza will be doing some important things such as ... getting married (!) and running the London Marathon.

April will mark Eliza's first ever marathon and the second time out for Sam at London. Training kicked off in December in the mountains of the Pyrenees.

Few industries in the world are as shielded from daily public life as seafaring. The 1.3 million men and women who move cargoes across the seas, largely out of sight, make the way we live our lives possible. There are plenty of shocking hardships that this invisible workforce has to endure. Sailors' Society provides invaluable help to these people.
