In April 2018 I discovered a love for Boxing after visiting a project in South Africa helping young children get off the street and involved in boxing. After putting on some gloves and throwing a few moves I discovered I loved it and the gentleman that runs the project told me ‘I had an eye for boxing’. So I listened to his words and when I returned home I looked up local boxercise classes which is when I come across Ruth’s class! 

I love boxercise and I am sweating after 15 minutes in a class so I am taking on the challenge of taking part in a 3 hour class for Ovarian Cancer in Action. 

Ovarian cancer is the biggest gynaecological killer in the UK claiming the life of a woman every 2 hours. Many women still do not know the symptoms leading to late diagnosis. I want to do all I can to raise money to help drive up survival rates so if you could spare a £1 I would be eternally grateful! Let’s beat cancer!
