When our little girl was just five weeks old we discovered that she was hearing impaired, along with the amazing support of the hospital staff and teachers of the deaf we have also been able to access services, support and social groups set up and run by the Gloucestershire Deaf Association and their amazing volunteers. 

They run so many services for people of all ages who have a hearing impairment but we have personally been able to take part in playgroups, Christmas parties, trips, theatre visits (with signing), parent support meetings, music groups and many more. These services are invaluable and offered at a heavily discounted rate thanks to the GDA. This is so helpful for those who feel the need, or have to become stay at home parents to assist in their child's development and care.
