On 16th April I will be running the Manchester Marathon in loving memory of my good friend Dave’s Dad (also Dave or as he is otherwise known “Mr Nice Dad”).

Dave sadly passed away in November of last year. He suffered with muscular dystrophy for many years and the Neuromuscular Centre provided treatments to help with the condition. I’ll be raising money for the Centre to help them continue their great work.

It goes without saying that Dave is sorely missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

This is my first marathon but I know Dave will be looking down on me shouting “go on girrrrlll” in his best Scouse accent.
