Following treatment for cancer, including a bone marrow transplant, my son’s friend and classmate, Daniel has been blind. 

The Oxford Association for the Blind have really helped Daniel, his Mum and Dad and three brothers to adapt to their new life-style. 

Daniel is amazing and has dealt with all these serious changes in a remarkably positive way but Samson has always wanted to do something to help Daniel and to raise some money for a charity that has helped him and his family. 

Since Lockdown, Samson and I have been riding our bikes together. We have so far ridden just over 100 miles. We were talking about the Marathon 2.6 Challenge and so we have decided that we’re going to try and ride a total of 260 miles for OAB - finishing with a ride of 26.2 miles in order to raise money for the charity that Daniel and his family have chosen. We’d like to try and raise at least £260.00 for OAB.
