Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my just giving page.
I like many others have had my ups and downs during the current lockdown period and it was one Monday , 4th May, that I felt quite low mentally. I think that I had too much time to reflect on things and also had been thinking about people I had loved and lost, in particular my dad and my brother Max. I realised that I needed to do something to lift my spirits and my son James suggested that I aim to run 100 miles in May!!
The first few runs were so hard and I couldn’t even get to Marine Road without getting out of breath!! However i persevered and it did get easier 🏃♀️
It’s now Monday 25th May and I have completed 84 miles which I am delighted with! Only 16 left to do so wish me luck.
I have chosen this charity as I lost my only sibling Max, 25 years ago so this is a charity close to my heart. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and I will keep you posted when I complete the challenge!
