Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

About 18 months ago, my friend Kerry told me that her husband, Nicky, had incurable bowel cancer.  The fight against "Clarkson" began and still continues.  Kerry rarely asks for anything so when she mentioned I might do this walk to raise money for cancer research I signed up.

Nicky is writing a blog about his "rubbish year and a bit"  - it is one of the most moving things I have read. Please read it here:

I am also walking for a dear family friend who was diagnosed with bowel cancer last year.

The  death rate from bowel cancer has dropped by 45% since the 1970s yet it still claims around 43 lives per day in the UK.

Please give whatever you are able to.

Sleep can wait. Beating cancer can't.
