HELP to BEAT breast cancer!

Thanks to Cancer Research UK the percentage of women who survive the disease beyond five years has increased to over 80%. But thousands of women (and a lot of men) still die from breast cancer each year. Please help to raise the percentage of those being saved through Cancer Research UK! I am sure that each one of you knows someone who lost a loved one, and maybe even you had to suffer from such a loss. You know that the more money there is, the better cancer can be fought.

Last year was the first time, I walked the SHINE half maraton, and it was an amazing experience. The feeling to do something that will help save lives, is incredible! The spirit of the walkers that night was overwhelming (albeit the cold) - smiling, determined faces all around. I felt incredibly proud to be part of this. And the fact that I exceeded my fundraising target was the icing on the cake :-).

It is people like you who can make a difference, who can make sure there are funds for research into new treatments. YOU open your purse, I tie my laces. Together we'll stand up against cancer!
