Sandringham House is raising money for The Grace Dear Trust · 8 March 2022

The Grace Dear Trust is a mental health charity recently set up after losing our daughter & sister Grace Dear to suicide aged just 27 in February 2017. We started this charity hoping to help save the lives of other young people suffering with mental health issues. Mental health affects 1 in 4 people and too many of them suffer without the help they need. We want change, letting people know “it’s ok not to be ok”. "Together We Are Stronger"

Story

Sandringham House will be supporting The Grace Dear Trust in 2022/2023.

We will be doing fundraising events over the year with the first one being a donut sale and then participating in The Grace Dear Rugby 7s Tournament in May.

Our 6th form boys will be playing in the The Grace Dear Trust 7s in May at Reeds Weybridge RFC.

They have formed a team with Mr Webb and Mr Davies who will be donning their boots and joining them on the day to play in the social tournament. The House will be supporting and fundraising for this charity this year. ⁣

The Grace Dear Trust is a charity that was set up after losing thier beloved daughter and sister, Grace Dear, to suicide aged just 27 inFebruary 2017. Grace had been suffering with depression and anxiety from the age of 13, but hadn’t felt she could reach out to anyone to help her make sense of her feelings. Not knowing why she felt the way she did, she suffered in silence for many years. Their trust works to educate young people, encouraging them to talk about their feelings and make mental health an everyday topic of conversation. "it's ok not to be ok"

Sandringham House supports the efforts of all that The Grace Dear Trust do.
