Sahara Trek · 2 November 2012

Set up in memory of Rosie May Storrie, age 10, who was brutally murdered in 2003. The Rosie May Foundation is a little charity with a BIG vision committed to creating a living legacy for children, especially girls, giving them a future that Rosie May was denied. "Make A Difference Together"

Story

Oh dear! What have I done!

So, I agreed to go to the Sahara, my sister told me I would have plenty of time on my hands in retirement. and then........

Every body at Mountsorrel School was so generous, -staff, parents and children  it made me think that raising the money for Kilimanjaro might just be achievable.

Fiona came back from The Rosie May home full of praise and admiration for the work that is going on there.

Riverside Primary school in Nottingham are eating their own weight in chocolate! So, all things considered it seemed the right thing for a retired Headteacher to do (although when they said have you thought of going to Kili, I thought they meant Kilmarnock)

 Time now to get fit!

The Sahara Trek starts on November 2nd.

The trek to the top of Kilimanjaro begins on June 6th

So as they say, dig deep! Many thanks!
