Hi there!

My name is Sara and I’m 22 years old from London. 

I am going to Brave the Shave and cut my hair off for BBC Children in Need. 

As a grant maker, they support disadvantaged children and young people all across the UK. With our support, they are able to change almost half a million young lives across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland every single year.

For centuries, hair has been integral to our identity, especially for women - our hair is our crown!  

I’ve decided to chop mine off to make a statement, to show that we can be beautiful no matter what is on our head and to raise money for those who need it.
