Hi,
To everyone who has sponsored me, I’m so sorry but due to having been poorly I’m not going to be able to do the Great North Run anymore this coming Sunday :-(
I am just getting over Gastroenteritis which I had for over a week and unfortunately there’s just no way that I will be able to get myself physically fit enough again to do the run on Sunday now with just a few days left.
I will be deferring my place until next year and so will hopefully be able to do the 2018 Great North Run.
Options: :-)
*Anyone who has sponsored me is very welcome to let the sponsor roll over to the 2018 Great North Run.
If I am able to arrange to do another half marathon this year then I will amend this JustGiving fundraising page accordingly to reflect the new challenge asap. Whatever it is, it will still all be in aid of Cancer Research Uk.
Thank you to everybody for the sponsors, and I'm so sorry to have to miss this one! :-(
Sara x

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In the 1970s, less than a quarter of people with cancer survived. But over the last 40 years, survival has doubled – today half will survive!
At Cancer Research, the ambition is to accelerate progress and see three-quarters of people surviving the disease within the next 20 years and to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
