Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page :D

I am cycling a massive 400km across 6 days from Vietnam to Cambodia to help raise funds for Hope for a Child projects in Uganda. This is a huge challenge which will be undertaken in temperatures of up to 30 degrees, whilst cycling on dirt track and some unsealed roads. Hope for a Child is an amazing charity, and I really believe in their message:

"We believe in giving a hand up rather than a hand out"

Hope for a Child's strategy enables the world’s poorest families and their children to rise out of poverty by implementing schemes called Village Savings & Loan Associations.

This is a particularly amazing venture for me because in 2011 I climbed Mount Toubkal (High Atlas Mountains, Morocco) which isthe second highest mountain in Northern Africa to help raise funds for Hope for a Child. It is an honour to be able to take on yet another challenge for an incredible cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

This trip is also 100% self funded and every single penny donated will go to those in need.

Remember, every penny counts :D

THANK YOU
