Campaign by Able Child Africa (RCN 326859)
Runners representing Able Child Africa for the London Marathon will help us play a key role in supporting local partners to protect, educate and empower children with disabilities so they are able to fulfill their potential.

Story

Able Child Africa plays a key role in supporting local partners to protect, educate and empower children with disabilities in the countries where we work. This year we captured the story of Rose and her parents in Malawi. When Rose's parents discovered their first daughter was born with cerebral palsy, they didn't know what to do. They had never seen a child with a disability before and faced with the stigma that surrounds disability, Rose was hidden away. Our project in partnership with FEDOMA is reaching out to other families like Rose's to help identify children with disabilities in rural Malawi and ensure they get the help they so desperately need.
