Brian was a very dear husband, Dad, Grandad, Great Grandad, friend, colleague, hobby mate and warm, generous man whose company was enjoyed by all who met him. His long, patient and good humoured battle with prostate cancer was an example to us all but cannot disguise the suffering he endured in recent months. We had so much support from you all and I ask you now for this one more thing, to give as generously as you can to try and stop this dreadful illness from taking other wonderful men before their time.
