Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So, for those of you who don't know my story.... On Saturday 9th August 2014, my life changed forever when I was involved in an accident at work which left me paralysed from the waist down.

I have spent the last couple of years adjusting to my new life and along the way have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to realise that some of my old hobbies are achievable.

Not one to shy away from a challenge I have agreed to take part in an 8k obstacle race on one condition, that I do it for a reason. That reason is The Bike Experience. This fabulous charity enabled me to do something I didn't think was possible and that was to get me back riding on 2 wheels. TBE share my passion for bikes & their fantastic volunteers work tirelessly to make dreams come true for disabled people up & down the country. As a result of my time with TBE I have been lucky enough to purchase my own track bike, adapt it and take part in my very first track day at Brands Hatch.

The charity are looking to offer more riders the same opportunity they gave to me but require funds to make this possible. Please donate whatever you can to this great cause, thank you so much, every penny really does count.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
