Hi, I am Sarah and I have just graduated from university.I was unsure as to what I wanted to do afterwards but I knew I wanted to work with a charity and help people. So I applied for ICS (International Citizen Service). ICS is a UK government development program which fights poverty and makes a difference where it is needed most.It is partnered with many charities, including Tearfund. Amazingly I was accepted and in September I will be volunteering with Tearfund  for 10 weeks in Rwanda alongside RDIS (The Rural Development Inter-Diocesan Service) and AEE (African Evangelistic Enterprise). As a team we hope to promote gender and child rights, sustainable agricultural skills  and developing access to water and sanitation. I need to raise £800 for this trip. All of the money goes back into the running of these wonderful ICS programs, giving other young people the chance to make a difference in fighting poverty and raising awareness. All donations are welcome, no matter how small.
