Sponsored Cutting and Donation of Hair · 30 January 2013
I have decided to cut 10 Inches off my hair and donate it to Locks of Love, a Charity which is a 'public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis' (http://www.locksoflove.org/).
Because I am donating the hair itself I decided to get sponsorship for cutting my hair and donate the money to Great Ormond Street Hospital so that I am also helping children inside the United Kingdom.
Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity is an amazing organisation, the money goes towards Redevelopment of their hospital so that there is more room and more beds, live saving Equipment and Research so that they can continue to help children with medical problems. Please give as generously as you can, even a small donation can go a long way.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
