Ava’s Walk For Wildwood · 6 January 2021

Wildwood Trust is dedicated to protecting, conserving and rewilding British wildlife, using natural solutions to reverse the biodiversity and climate crises we face today. Together, we will prevent the extinction of our most endangered species and create a wilder future.

Story

Ava, myself and Thom will be doing a sponsored 5 mile walk in aid of raising funds for the local wildlife sanctuary, Wildwood Trust.

This place creates a much needed home for some of the rarest wildlife in the UK through a natural as possible habitat in order to preserve and educate.

As annual passholders, we wanted to contribute in a direct way during such a difficult time and feel that this is somewhere so special it truly deserves all the help it can to stay open.

As some of you will know, I suffer with Fibromyalgia so the January weather isn’t the best for me and with Ava’s little legs, we will be doing this in increments and posting our combined walk as we complete it. (We all know Thom could do it in two strides but he’s going to be doing it at a snails pace with us) ☺️

We know money is tight for everyone but if you can spare even the smallest amount, it will help immensely. Wish us luck in this weather!

Thank you.
