Everyone at St Ann’s Hospice treat there patients with such compassion and respect, nothing was ever too much trouble !
I cannot speak highly enough of the nurses, who embraced us like family and were with us every step of the way. Even when patients are sleeping much of the time, they always treated them like the man/woman husband/father or wife/mother they were talking to them about what was going on around them. I know how important this would have been to some patients.
I can honestly say from an awful situations was made bearable from the day a patient goes into here..
They have a balance of professionalism with genuine compassion and we will never be able to repay them. All there hard work and emotions that they go through and do on a daily basis is unremarkable ..

And that is why I am raising money for St Ann’s Hospice for the second time running ..
I fight again on Saturday 10th March ..
