The Incredible Arundel Bath Tub Race · 31 July 2010

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age every year, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.

Story

Hello everybody,

At this time on the 31st of July, Katherine and I will be loading up the car with our bath tub and driving down to Arundel to enter an amaizing race!!!!It will start at the Black Rabbit pub and 30 bath tub crews will be fiting it out to be the the first to pass the finish line. We will be rowing down the river Arun and hopefully wont spend too much time swimming. My brother Paki used to organise the race in Italy when he was at Uni so when we found out about the one in Arundel we had to enter. (His Excuse for not being in it definitely wont hold up next year!)This would be the perfect opportunity to try to raise as much money as possible for Chestnut Tree House.

"Chestnut Tree House is the only children's hospice in Sussex and cares for children and young adults from 0-19 years of age with progressive life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses from all over the county. The hospice costs over £2 million per year to run. Families are not charged for their care and the hospice receives very little government funding so it relies almost entirely on the generosity, help and support of the people of Sussex."

As much or as little as you can afford will help to make a big difference so thank you thank you thank you
