At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you know I have personally twice had the "company" of the big C. Following a double masectomy and reconstruction I was hit with secondary cancer in my carotid artery. With the help of my amazing consultant, family and friends I came through my chemotherapy and surgery and have been in remission since 25/06/2012.

Jamie was my rock throughout he understood like no-one else, he was the bravest and kindest man I have ever met and I promised him shortly before he was taken from us after a long battle with Cancer that I would do as many crazy muddy runs as I could. I did many last year and have signed up for lots more this year.

I started with Hell Runner on January 4th - a nice 12 mile mudfest ! and will continue to update everyone on what i am doing :-)

CLIK is an awesome charity and one which helped Jamie and his family throughout, donations are so important and do so much - thank you very much for your time reading this and your donation.
