Race for SPACE 2016 · 14 May 2016 ·

The aim of SPACE is to provide a local, fun, safe and accessible environment in which children with additional needs can play whilst supporting the whole family. In February 2020 we opened a Fully accessible centre with a sensory room & soft play so that we can support more families.

Story

Esther has the joy of knowing a wonderful boy in her school. And I've had the joy of meeting his incredible mum,who along with others has started a charity called SPACE in the Chester area.

Space is a parent led support group for families that have children with additional needs. The aim of SPACE is to provide a safe and accessible play opportunities for children with additional needs and also support their families through peer support and providing information.

We are playing our small part by running the 5K on 14th May and raising whatever money we can to support SPACE with their activities. Any donations greatly welcomed.

And for those that know me, yes, Esther will probably totally out run me!
