I am biting the bullet and facing a huge fear of mine, I am doing this in memory of a very special little girl. Her name is Laci, and on June 26th the day of my skydive this little girl should be turning 3. Sadly though she is not here to celebrate her birthday, she died at three days old due to her bowel being dead. (Laci's full story is on sands Lothians web page, please have a read if you haven't already done so) I struggle around her birthday as I have no idea how to mark her day, neither celebrating nor ignoring the day seems right. So I have made a little promise to her, that every year on her birthday I will do something that will not only scare me but make me proud of myself that I managed to overcome a fear. While doing so I thought there was no better way of raising money for SANDS Lothians at the same time, so please guys and gals dig deep, this charity and the people they have working for them are amazing and have helped me and so many other families deal with the most tragic of situations.
