So I’ve decided I want to start the year off doing something for a good cause. I have decided to run 50 miles in January to help raise money for Nexus NI. I am by no means a runner so this is gona be a big challenge for me 🤣🤣.If you haven’t heard of Nexus NI they are a non-profit organisation who offer services and support to people who have been affected by sexual violence in any form. 

This is a personal one for me having experienced first hand how this can affect you. It affects your whole life, your relationships and more importantly the relationship you have with yourself. I want to help Nexus to help other woman and men who have fallen victim to traumatic experiences that no one should ever have to go through. 

Sexual abuse happens all the time. It needs to be talked about more and awareness needs to be made to let people know there is help out there and there really is light at the end of the tunnel.
