The 3 Peaks Challange

On the 9th September 1 minibus, 10 participants and 2 bottles of bubbly will be setting off from the sunny climes of Basildon to take on the National 3 Peaks Challenge. Why the bubbly you may ask? Are we getting ahead of ourselves? The answer to that is a resounding 'No' but one of our team will be celebrating a birthday during the challenge and champagne has been promised. Those that know me may think that is the only reason i am participating in this gruelling challenge but it's not true, honest!

We start with the ascent of Snowdon where our exitement will barely be contained, Scafell Pike is next then our weary legs will begin a last agonising assault of Ben Nevis (and hopefully more champagne!!!) All of this we are hoping to achieve in the coveted 24 hours.
