Manor Mead is a special school for children aged 2 to 11 with severe / profound and complex learning difficulties or with an autisic spectrum disorder. The key aim of the school is to help all the children to achieve their full potential so they can become as independent as possible in later life.

Story

Participants: Sarah Noel, Lauren Redhead, Anna Brown & Darren Cheeseman

For some crazy reason we thought it would be a great idea to jump out of a plane at 13,000 feet and falling at 120mph before parachuting over the skies of Oxford on 23rd July. Yes crazy I know, but we all know this is going to be a great and probably a once in a lifetime experience (unless your name is Lauren Redhead, which I think is now jump 3 for her).

As many of you know my daughter Faith attends Manor Mead School in Shepperton, which is a school for children with special needs and learning difficulties. This school has done absolute wonders for Faith, and she has learnt new skills that we never thought would be possible. Lots of the specialist equipment needed or projects carried out throughout the school are all funded through charitable donations, so we would like to help Manor Mead as much as possible. Any sponsors would be much appreciated by Manor Mead, and our Team and will hopefully give us the push we need to jump!!
