Story
26.10.15 the day all of our life's changed forever. Only very few people will know the truth about what happened that day but we are now brave enough to share our story.
Franké had been unwell during the night so off to the doctors we went, on arrival we were advised to take Franké to the PAU unit at Wexham Park. On arrival every parents worst nightmare happened our baby stopped breathing. He was rushed to theatre where it took a team of 37 people to save his life. It was touch and go whether he would make it through the night.
We were transfered to PICU at the John Radcliffe hospital and they worked through the night to keep our tiny baby alive. We were not allowed to see him, touch him or hold him and every minute that passed felt like a lifetime.
But he made it, his inner strength pulled him through to amaze us all but nobody could comprehend the day we got the news that our precious baby had a rare chromosome disorder.
We had no idea what this meant and it rocked all of our world's. A chromosome so rare that no other cases in the UK had ever been heard of, we had a one of a kind baby.
We don't know what the future holds for franké but what we do know is whatever happens he is ours and together we can do anything.
