On the 5th of May 2011, I will be setting off on a 5 day trek in the Indian Himalayas as part of a nine day challenge to raise money for the Yorkshire Cancer Center.

The Yorkshire Cancer Centre based at St James's Hospital in Leeds, West Yorkshire, plays a leading role in the diagnosis, care and treatment of patients with cancer, and holds a special place in my heart, as my father was treated there in 2008 with great success.

This is my way of setting my self a challenge, and to try to give something back to the wonderful hospital and the staff who treated my dad.
