Buddies is a social group for young people with disabilities aged 14 - 25 in Shropshire.  It provides opportunities for disabled young people to come together and try new activities, building confidence and friendships, which support their journey into adulthood. Being active and spending time with friends is important for physical and mental wellbeing and often disabled young people struggle to find suitable opportunities to do this.  Shrewsbury Town FC Foundation offers opportunities for disabled young people to participate in sport, to build friendships and to have fun, which are very important and valued.  Buddies want to say thank you by running, walking, wheeling and dancing the Shrewsabilty Run on the 15th April 2023, and raising money to help the Foundation to continue this work.
