In November 2023, I will be facing my fears and flying out to the incredible island of Madagasgar for a challenging 12 days of endurance and adventure!

I would like to ask for your support in sponsoring me to raise funds for a local charity who do amazing work to support people who are homeless, rough sleeping or in severe poverty. 

NOAH is a charity which seeks to help the most disadvantaged in the local community. In the aftermath of the pandemic, and consequence of the cost-of-living crisis, they have seen an increasing number of people needing their support.

This challenge provides the opportunity to raise much needed funds. Profits from this adventure wìll go towards helping those suffering from poverty and homelessness, providing food, clothing, medical help, housing support and help with employment. 

Our group will be trekking over 100 km through the rainforests and mountains of the Andringitra National Park, across challenging terrain, and summiting Pic Boby and Chameleon Peak. At the end of the trip we will be helping villagers with a local community project.

Doing something like this is completely out of my comfort zone, I'm not the most confident or adventurous... I'm scared of flying and I've never spent the night in a tent! But after a difficult few years I want to prove I'm stronger and capable of more than I and others may think I am. To prepare I've been training hard, hiking most weekends and in all weathers, exploring new places and trying new experiences.

I know this is going to be a huge challenge, physically and mentally, but I'm excited to push my limits and support a very worthy cause.
